Hotspot postpaid usage plan is used to manage user upload and download bandwidth speed and user data quota and time frames.

Step 1: Login to the Tacitine. (If you are configuring the Tacitine for the first time, the default Lan IP is https://192.168.100.1:4433)and Default username: admin & Password: admin99

Step 2: Goto Configuration > Hotspot tab.

Step 3: Click the Postpaid Accounts –> Usage Plans –> Add

Step 4: Mention the Plan name for your reference. Ex: Monthly 2mbps 20gb

How to Configure the Hotspot Usage Plans

Step 5: Select the Plan type as Primary, so that user can assign as a primary plan otherwise choose to extend it should be a FAIR PLAN.

Step 6: Mention the time quota and data quota based on user requirements.

Step 7: Mention the upload and download bandwidth speed in kbps.

Step 8: Configure Email alert to the users for usage alert and validity alert. (Email Settings Configuration Required)

Step 9: Select the SMS status template. ex: Default

Step 10: Configure SMS alerts to the users for usage alert and validity alert. (SMS gateway is required for SMS alerts

Step 11: Select the SMS status template. ex: Default

Step 12: Select the POP status template. ex: Default

Step 13: Mention the payment type as postpaid. If you choose postpaid invoice is generaed every month end, otherwise choose advance paid to get the invoice at the time of renewal.

Step 14: Mention the Plan charge and choose price type yourself.

Step 15: Select Apply to complete the primary plan creation

EXTENDED PLAN CREATION SAMPLE

Step :1 Mention the Plan Type as Extended.

Step :2 Give the Upload/Download Bandwidth Limit for Post Usage. Ex: 512kbps

Note: Extended Plan is used to give Fair Usage plan to the user.
